Does it really work?
Yes! The results of many studies indicate that stubborn conditions that fail to respond to
current medical treatments often respond well to acupuncture.
Acupuncture isn’t just for muscles and tendon-type pain. It is effectively used to treat sports injuries, nerve damage, stroke, arthritis, work injuries, and allergies, as well as after-surgery treatment.
Today, Medical Healing Center represents a combination of treatment methods, working together with all medical Practitioners.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is an essential part of traditional Chinese medicine, a comprehensive system of healthcare with a continuous history of over 3,000 years. This therapy works with the natural vital energy inherent within all living things to promote the body’s ability to heal itself.
Acupuncture points are specific locations along the meridians. Each point has a predictable effect upon the vital energy passing through it.
What can I expect?
Many conditions may be alleviated very rapidly by acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. However, some conditions that have arisen over the course of years will be relieved only with slow steady progress. As in any form of healing, the patient's attitude, diet, determination and lifestyle will affect the outcome of a course of treatment.
Is Acupuncture painful?
Acupuncture bears no resemblance to the feeling of receiving an injection, since the needles are very fine and flexible. In most cases, insertion by a skilled practitioner is performed without discomfort.
Most patients find the treatments very relaxing and many fall asleep during treatment.
At Medical Healing Center, WE ONLY USE DISPOSABLE NEEDLES, SO OUR PROCEDURES ARE VERY SAFE.
